Doesn’t that name sound fabulous? Well, it is only slightly misleading . . . we do have walnut trees, Black Walnut, that is. We do have a creek. And we do have a little cabin in the woods, suitable to sleep up to four on wood bunks and available to rent starting at $50 per night. Complete rate schedule can be found on the rates page link. This is primitive camping and is a vigorous walk of 1/4 mile up a hill.
What we really have to offer that you’ll appreciate is a 3 bedroom home built in 1986 that sleeps up to 12. It’s situated on 200+ acres available to hike and hunt on. You’ll find the amenities can’t be beat.

This little cabin is a short hike up the hill (a hearty walk) and is the equivalent of primitive camping except you don’t need to lug the tent up the hill. It’s a charming little home, some refer to this as the “internet cafe” since cell reception is possible at times here. It is also a good resting spot before making your way on the hike to the lake views.
